Aaron Cass is the Seldon Institute Writer-in-Residence (2024-2025).

He is a playwright, professional theatre maker, writer, and educator, with a special interest in the development of a spiritual perspective with contemporary relevance. He has over forty years of experience running retreats and study programs on behalf of the Beshara Trust and Chisholme Institute, two UK charities researching the personal and cultural benefits of an education based on the unity of being — a principle essential to all the world’s mystical traditions.  

He is also a part-time designer/woodworker and teaches cooking skills at a school for young people on the autistic spectrum. He lives and works in Edinburgh.
